Elizabeth Anne Smith, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away October 1, 2024, in Buck Creek of Alabaster.


She was born November 28, 1941, in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Ottis Glenn and the late Elsie Glenn.


She was Vice President of First Federal Savings and Loan were she retired with over 35 years of service. She helped a lot of people with advice on their finances. She loved her family, enjoyed gardening, and cooking.


Surviving are her Husband of 57 years, John H. Smith; Daughter, Allison Smith; Grandsons, Logan Stone, Carson Stone; Granddaughter, Catherine Stone; Brothers, Leon (Anne) Glenn, Larry (Christy) Glenn, Thomas Glenn.


She was preceded in death by her Father, Leon Ottis Glenn; Mother, Elsie Thornton Glenn.  


Friends will be received Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.


Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Ferguson officiating.


Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
