Vicki Lee Evans passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her husband on September 30,
2024, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on September 26, 1954, in
Seattle, Vicki was a true warrior until the end.
Vicki was welcomed into the world by her parents, Mike and Ruth Rocke, and her brothers Mike,
Steve, and Kris soon joined the family. She grew up and attended school in the Seattle area, later
becoming an insurance adjuster.
On February 14, 1986, Vicki married the love of her life, Jon Evans. Their bond was
unbreakable, and her family meant everything to her. Vicki was a devoted mother to her
daughters, Sharlene and Adrienne. She was fiercely protective of her grandsons, Jonathan and
Jace, and adored her great-granddaughters, Adrienne, Trinity, Hailee, and Emma.
Jon and Vicki shared 38 wonderful years together. They made their home in Kamiah, Idaho,
where they ran the family auto body business together. In 2014, they built the home of their
dreams and moved to Clearwater to live happily ever after.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband Jon, her daughter Sharlene (Jesse) Johnson of Clearwater,
ID, her grandsons Jonathan Evans of Lewiston and Jace Johnson of Moscow, and her great-
granddaughters Adrienne, Trinity, Emma, and Hailee Evans of Lewiston. She is also survived by
her devoted pet Yorkie, Prince, and her brothers Kris (Lana) Rocke, Mike (Kelly) Rocke, and
Steve (Jackie) Rocke. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who will cherish her
memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mike and Ruth Rocke and her daughter Adrienne
Evans.
Vicki was known for her love of entertaining and was the “hostess with the mostest,” ensuring
every gathering was lavish and memorable. She had a passion for travel, fishing, and riding her
Harley. Vicki and Jon shared many adventures together, creating cherished memories.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 5th, at 2:00 PM at the Clearwater
Community Cemetery in Clearwater, Idaho. A potluck dinner will immediately follow at the
Clearwater IOOF Hall on Main Street in Clearwater. Arrangements are under the direction of
