Mary Elizabeth Hess Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Hess passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Linda White Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born to Joseph and Emma Gillham in Huntingburg, Indiana.

After graduating high school she went on to work at Kmart for a number of years before becoming a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James Hess; parents; brothers, Donnie and Joe Gillham; sister, Viola Schnell; daughter-in-law, Betty Miller.

She is survived by her sons, Bob (Jackie) Miller, Bill Miller; stepdaughters, Patsy (Tim) Knecht, Shelby (Scott) Rauth, Linda summers; six grandchildren, Billy, Brenda, Melinda, Jared, Randy, Tracy; great-grandchildren; many more relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel, 7022 Heim Rd., Chandler, IN 47610.

Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
