His Legacy… Jess Lee Stewart III, 73, passed away September 29, 2024.  He was born on December 1, 1950, in Janesville, Wisconsin to Jess Stewart Jr.  and Ruth (Edwards) Stewart. Jess married the love of his life, Debby Goulet, on July 27, 1974, in Bay City, Michigan. Jess graduated from GMI in 1974, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. He went on to have a career of over 47 years with GM. Jess loved his career at GM and was an extremely loyal employee. As much as he loved his job, he loved his family more than anything. He would tell his fellow engineers that “family always comes first”. Jess was incredibly proud of his children and being a dad, husband and grandfather was the most important to him. He coached both of his children in various sports through the years. Jess enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, boating and being outdoors. He was a “jack of all trades” from being able to fix cars to home improvement. Jess often helped his neighbors with projects; he showed his love by helping people. Jess was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family… Jess will be missed by his wife, Debby Stewart; his children, Jess (Danielle) Stewart IV, Jenna (Ben) Howison; grandchildren, Jess Stewart V and Elliot Stewart. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Ruth Stewart.

His Farewell… Jess’ family and friends will gather Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 12:00PM-3:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will follow at 3:00PM. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the charity of your choice in memory of Jess.
