Mr. Curtis Murrell Carpenter, age 77, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 30, 2024, at his home in Pollock.

Memorial Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Pollock on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Audie Lee Carpenter; and wife, Norma Carpenter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Charles Carpenter, Stephen Carpenter (Samantha), and Robert Carpenter (Stephanie); grandchildren, Serenity, Evelyn, Elijah, and Rosalyn; and dear friends, Rick and Jan.

Mr. Curtis was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was the son of a Math professor and and English teacher. Their interest in education was passed to Curtis who graduated from NSU with a Masters in Business. He spent most of his working career in the Banking and Financing industries. His natural gift of mathematics made him a very competitive and accomplished Bridge player. Curtis was a faithful member of First Baptist of Pollock for many years and enjoyed singing in the choir. He also enjoyed watching sports of all kinds on TV. He will forever be remembered by those that loved and knew him.
