Bobby Wayne Middleton, 76, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 01, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Wednesday, July 14, 1948 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late George & Fannie Poynter Middleton. Bobby was a farmer, and enjoyed working on small engines. In his younger years, he enjoyed drag racing. In more recent years, his most cherished times were spending days with his family. Bobby was an avid fisherman, & enjoyed crappie fishing with his best friend and wife of 31 years, Billie Miracle Middleton. He was a member of New Antioch Christian Church, in Lancaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Maurice Middleton; sisters, Alberta Middleton, Lula Mae Rigsby, Sarah Moyer, Delores Walker, Betty Giles, Dorothy Solomon; grandchild, Blake Johnson; great-grandchild, Brynlee Daugherty.

Survivors other than his wife Billie include a son, Robert (Tonia) Middleton, of Lancaster; daughters, Cherrie Middleton, of Lancaster, Heather (Donnie) Short, of Richmond, Kristin Johnson, of Stanford; brothers, David Middleton, of Garrard County, Sterling Middleton, of Alabama, Jimmy Middleton, of Lexington; sisters, Christine Weubben, of Ohio, Sally Jones, of Nicholasville, Rose Murray, of Indiana; grandchildren, Tristin & Brennan Middleton, Mikah Goode, Jordan Short, Landyn & Braelyn Johnson; great-grandchildren, Bentley Middleton, Adalynn Daugherty.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Val McCord & Bro. Josh Haines officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include John & Danny Miracle, Jordan Short, Landyn Johnson, Brennan Middleton, & Ashton Daugherty. Honorary pallbearers include Tristin Middleton, Billy Caudill, Ryan Hunt, Rita & Freeman Wylie, Jim Vice, John Smith, R.D. Middleton, Randy Perkins, Jason Elliott, Tub Poynter, George Jackson, Marshall Norton, Hugh Davis, Don Rinthen, David Adams, Sammy Young, Tim Davis, & Kevin Middleton. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
