Susan Carol Hughes, 71, born February 24, 1953, passed away on September 30, 2024, in El Paso, Texas.
She will forever be remembered for her love of the outdoors, dragon flies, and animals of all kinds. She had a passion for collecting antiques and various trinkets even though she had more than her fair share.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Alvy F. Lindsey and her brother, Dale Lindsey. She is survived by her loving husband, John Ludwig Hughes, Jr.; her mother, Theresa Mae Lee Lindsey (née Guytan); son and daughter-in-law John Ludwig Hughes III and Kerstein; daughter and son-in-law Jessica Hughes and Ken Weeks; her pride and joy, granddaughter, Samantha Weeks; loyal beloved companion, Harley; as well as numerous other family and friends.
