Florence Salvadori, 95, of Burgettstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. She was born on June 8, 1929, in Colliers, West Virginia, to the late Battista and Mary Salvadori. Florence is survived by her sister, Emma Serish, and reuniting with her brother, John Salvadori, and sister, Jennie Salvadori, in heaven as she often envisioned.

Florence devoted much of her time helping others, working as a medical secretary for nearly 38 years. She was also a member and dedicated volunteer of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Most of all, Florence was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews, treating each of them as her own children. She was known for her giving nature and always sent visitors home with a specially selected decoration from her collection or a treat from her kitchen. Even during her last days at the Greenery, she would set aside her desserts to share with her visiting nieces and nephews. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking delicious meals, canning seasonal foods to give out to her friends and family, making her infamous stuffed pepper soup to donate to local events, traveling with her sister Jennie, and dancing the Polka. Florence's favorite pastime was browsing through Petrucci Market or Kauffman Family Marketplace, and she never missed an opportunity to join her niece for breakfast at Eat'n Park. She loved celebrating every holiday and brought joy to her home decorating from top to bottom for the season. The memories of Florence will remain a source of comfort and joy for her family and friends, who will forever treasure the time they had with her.
