Michael Leroy Johnson, 73, of Peoria, IL, sadly left this world on September 30, 2024.

He was born on December 1, 1950 to William "Eugene" and Mildred "Maxiene" (Zirkle) Johnson.  He leaves behind two daughters CaSandra (Travis) Lutes of Peoria and Kimberly Ade of Kansas City, MO and his three grandsons and one granddaughter: Hudson Thomas, Grayson Michael, Rickie Lou, and Alexandra Catherine. Mike had a huge family, with six siblings preceding him in death and seven siblings surviving him.

Michael was an amazing pool player and took the time to teach his nephews a few of his pool tricks.  He spent a lot of his time antiquing (mostly marbles) and garage saling with his son-in-law, Travis.  The last three years he shared a home with his daughter, son in law and grandsons and that gave him a final purpose and home to be proud of.

To know Mike was an honor for yourself.  He knew no strangers and would give you the shirt off his back even if it was the last to give.  He was the most kind and loving soul a person could meet.  He will be immensely missed by his daughters, son in law, family, and friends.  Any person in his life shared a special bond and story with Michael J.
