Luther Boin Woody Obituary

Luther Boin “Bo” Woody, 54, of Choctaw, OK, went to his home in heaven on September 30th,

2024. Bo was born on November 4th, 1969 to Sidney Newton Woody and Betty Woody. He

graduated from Meeker High School in 1988, where he competed in archery. After high school,

Bo went on to win local and state welding championships, and founded his business APS

Automotive in Spencer, Oklahoma. Bo was well known in the Oklahoma street racing

community as a master tuner and resourceful mechanic. In addition to racing, Bo loved the

mountains of Colorado, driving ATVs, and going on adventures with his family. He was a long

time member of Bible Baptist Church in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma where he served as treasurer

and ran a bus route. Bo is survived by his wife, Jennifer Woody, his son Dalton and fiance

Randi, his grandchildren Leo and Cherish, and his son Logan Woody, his stepchildren Jacob,

Caleb, Daniel, and Rebekah Wheatley, and his father Sidney Newton Woody. He is preceded in

death by his mother Betty Lou Woody. A private memorial service will be held for family and

close friends, with a public celebration of life service to be announced. Flowers may be sent to

Bible Baptist Church 11498 NE 10th St, Choctaw, OK 73020.
