Efrosa Martinos Obituary

Efrosa Martinos, affectionately known to family and friends as Frosso, passed away peacefully on Sunday night, September 29, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Stefo, along with their three children, Amalia, Maritsa (Stelios), and Billy (Dawn).  In addition to her husband and children, Frosso was blessed with six grandchildren: Christopher, Stephano, Stephanie, Elena, Steven, and Maya and a great granddaughter, Melina.

Frosso was born on July 15, 1943, in the village of Lakatamia, Cyprus.  She was the oldest of six born to Maritsa and Mihail.  Frosso immigrated to New York at the age of 15 where she lived with her Uncle Pete for seven years, worked, and went to school.  She then moved to the Washington DC area where she met the love of her life, Stefo.  Frosso and Stefo married and proceeded to have a family of three.  She then ventured out to become an entrepreneur, opening her own restaurant, and developing sincere long term relationships with her customers.

A kind-hearted soul, Frosso touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.  She made an impact on many and will sincerely be missed.

A celebration of Frosso's life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Sts.
