Wanda Marie Hammond, age 73 of Pine Lake, passed away on September 29, 2024. Wanda was born on November 14, 1950 in Boyne City, Michigan to Harold and Lillia (Magellan) Lemons. In 1968, Wanda married the love of her life, Michael Hammond, and together they spent 56 wonderful years of marriage. That same year, they purchased their home on Pine Lake, where they raised their family and made many friends along the way. Wanda is survived by her dear husband, Michael; children: Jody Harris, Scott (Jaki) Hammond, Jennifer (Joe Case) Hammond; grandchildren: Michael Hammond, Rachael VanderWoude, Hannah Gibbs, Kaeden Hammond, Trenton Case, Brennan Hammond, Haley Case; great-grandchildren: Deacon Frost, Noah Hammond, Savannah Frost, Mikelah Harris, Tukker VanderWoude, Sowyer VanderWoude, Granger Gibbs; three siblings; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Barb (Joe) Selzer. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. Per Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Orangeville Township Hall, 7350 Lindsey Road, Plainwell, light snacks and refreshments will be served.
