Maude Renee Kanupp Evans Obituary
Maude Renee “Cookie” Kanupp Evans of Hickory passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her residence.
Born September 29, 1959, in Catawba County she was the daughter of the late Homer Leroy Kanupp and Jewel Dean Berry Kanupp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her husband Charles Ronald Evans of the home; daughters Tonya Jackson (Reath) of Granite Falls, Rhonda Gajus (Calvin) of Gastonia, Carolann Willis of Hildebran; six grandchildren, Damon Greene, Lance Peterson, Keith Gajus, C.J. Gajus, Lacie Westbrooks, Teo Robinson; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Darla Diane Raby of Rhodhiss.
A private service will be held at a later date.
