Suzanne Lorine (Thomas) Caudill, 77, of Galion, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. Suzanne was born on April 4, 1947, to the late Robert and Ada "Lorine" (Jones) Thomas, and on April 26, 1964, she married the love of her life, David D. Caudill of Hazard County, Kentucky, in a Ben Franklin store. David preceded her in death on October 10, 1996.
She held numerous jobs throughout her life, but she was proudest of being a wife and a mother. Suzanne enjoyed her house in the country, doing sketches and painting, writing poems and stories, playing her organ and autoharp, listening to country music, doing genealogy research, tatting, and spending time with her family and friends.
Suzanne had a rich sense of humor and was known for her quick wit.
Left to cherish Suzanne's memory are her children, who are all scattered, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Along with Suzanne's parents, she is preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Joseph and Mary (Davis) Jones, Paternal grandparents; Ralph and Grace (Dye) Thomas, and brother; Robert "Tommy" Thomas.
Friends may call on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N., Galion, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with services following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Shawn Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crawford County Genealogical Society, Morrow County Genealogical Society, or Morrow County Historical Society.
