Kaye Weidman, age 83 of Knoxville, PA passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born August 18, 1941 in Deerfield Township and was a daughter to the late Kenwood “Pic” and Evadna (Baker) Linder. On June 1, 1963 Jay Lynn Weidman married Kaye Linder at the Butler Hill Baptist Church. From high school sweethearts to spending every day of their lives together, they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary just this last June.  Kaye worked at the Elkland District Justice Office as a secretary until her Retirement in 2004. She enjoyed camping with friends, sewing and mending anything that needed repaired, baking brownies every Sunday and her evening outings with friends. Kaye loved spending time with family and her two pets, Wendy and Jacko. She attended Butler Hill Baptist church where she was a member for over 60 years.  She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Jay L. Weidman of Knoxville; son, Mike (Karen) Weidman of Ulysses, PA; daughter, Terri (Terry) Patterson of Westfield, PA; grandchildren, Travis Patterson of Westfield, Brett Weidman of Durham, NC, Patrick Weidman of Raleigh, NC and Ashley Weidman of Schoeneck, PA; siblings, Shirley (Bill) Canfield of Presho, NY, Kathleen (Ben) Tanner of Jersey Shore, PA, Jerry (Judy) Linder of Utica, NY and Denise (Greg) David of Houston, TX. Kaye was preceded in death by both her parents and a granddaughter, Trisha Patterson.  Family and Friends are called to Kenyon Funeral Home - Elkland, PA on October 12, 2024 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 1:00 pm with Reverend William O’Neil officiating. Kaye will be laid to rest at Butler Hill Cemetery.
