Louise grew up in Baltimore, MD and graduated from the Business school of Clara Barton Vocational High School after being president of her high school class. She then worked 7 years for the University of Maryland Dental School as a secretary. Louise and Joe began their 69-year marriage on June 30, 1951. After moves to New Jersey and Baltimore, they settled in Silver Spring, MD in 1964. When Louise and Joe began their family of 4 children, Louise was a homemaker caring for the busy family. While the children were young, she was very active with the religious education program at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, and she was a Cub Scout den leader. Later, since the children had grown, Louise worked at Manor Care as a secretary for the legal department from 1983 to 1994. During this time, Louise also went to Baltimore at least once a week to help her aging mother with shopping, chores, and going to many doctor's appointments. Louise's faith was very important to her. She faithfully attended Mass at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, and as a senior, she enjoyed the SJB Leisure Club. Louise loved reading, going to Polka dances, crocheting, doing needlepoint, bowling, going to see musicals, and above all else, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was so loving, smart, organized, and warm-hearted, and she who would light up our lives with her big, beautiful, happy smile. We will miss you so much, Mom, but we find great comfort in knowing that you and Dad are again holding hands together in heaven. Together forever.
