Elmer Simmons Obituary
Elmer Joseph Simmons was born on August 9, 1959, in Monroe County, New York and departed this life on October 1, 2024, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Annville, being 65 years of age. He was the son of the late Henry Clay and Marjorie Fields.
He is survived by his wife Helen of Tyner. His children; Joseph (Amber) Simmons of Prestonsburg, Elizabeth Simmons Newman of Tyner and Marjorie (Carvel) Brewer of Corbin. A brother John Simmons of New York, and two sisters; Edna Kelley of McKee and Barbara Lakes of Irvine. Elmer was blessed with eight grandchildren: Mason Lewis, Rylen Wilson, Brooklyn Simmons, Camela Simmons, Emalee Music, Natalie Music, Bradley Sturgill and Autumn Mullins.
In addition to his parents Elmer was proceeded in death by his brother, Henry Fields.
