Janet (Pedro) Webster, 58, of Swampscott, passed away suddenly, on Sunday September 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, after an illness. Born in Swampscott to the late John and Patricia Pedro, Janet was a lifelong Swampscott resident; a “Townie” through and through. She was the loving wife of the late Peter E. Webster, and the loving life-partner of David W. Blodgett.
Janet graduated from Swampscott High School and then North Shore Community College, earning her Associate Degree in Accounting. She worked several jobs in accounting, but her favorite job was being a mother to her beloved daughter Julia. She also loved listening to music, especially live music.
Janet is survived by her daughter Julia Webster, her life-partner David Blodgett, her brother John Pedro, brother Stephen Pedro and his wife Cathy, and their children Sophia and Christian, her sister-in-law Mary “Mimi” Webster and her children Jillian and Andrea, as well as many extended family members and life-long friends.
Memorial visitation for Janet will be held from 4-8PM on Thursday October 3, 2024 at Solimine Funeral Home 67 Ocean St. (Rt1A) Lynn. Memorial funeral mass will be held at 10AM on Saturday October 5, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Church 174 Humphrey St. Swampscott. Please meet directly at church. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s name may be made to the American Heart Association at www.Heart.org.
