Elmer Lee Keaton, a lifelong resident of East Liverpool, entered his heavenly rest on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and the loving compassionate staff of Calcutta Health Care Center. He was 88 years old.
Born on July 28, 1936 in East Liverpool, he was the beloved son of the late Everett and Mary Crews Keaton.
He retired from Crucible Steel in 1982. He attended East Liverpool City Schools where he met his devoted wife of 67 years, Beverly Muschweck. They married on April 13, 1957, and became the proud parents of Chris Bangor (David) of East Liverpool, Kathy Drosos (Bill) of Powell, and Robert Keaton of East Liverpool.
He was the proud pap-pap of Sarah Hamilton (Derek) and Ashleigh Drosos of Powell, Ohio. He became great pap-pap to his rambunctious Noah (Bubba) Riley Hamilton, Princess Emmy (Girl) Grace Hamilton, and his zooming granddog Tobin.
In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his sister, Dorothy (Dot) Tompkins, In-laws Henry and Shirley Muschweck, Linda Mote, and Sandy Muschweck, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Elizabeth (Betty) Heald, David M Bahen IV, Lisa Ingram, Shirley Mae Muschweck, Megan Muschweck, John Cumberledge, and George McArthur V.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 3rd, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM for visitation followed by a service at 1:00PM at Care Funeral and Cremation's Martin Chapel in Calcutta. Graveside services will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
