Scott Lee Duron, age 65, of Kentwood, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born in Grand Rapids on June 11, 1959, the son of Antonio and Judith (Cisler) Duron. Scott retired from Sara Lee Bread in Zeeland after 33 years. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Duron; children, Keith (Jessica) Duron of Grand Rapids, Anthony (Justine) Duron of Rockford, Jackie (Ben) Foster of Burlington, ND; Tina (Shannon Perrien) Jensen of Ionia, Kristy (Chris) Edmonds of Greenville; grandchildren, Courtney, Brianna, Gabe, Bryce, Asher, Oliver, Madilynn, Calvin, Michael, Alex, Aisha, Andon, Owen, Alton, Zaiden; brothers, Sam, Stephen, Adam, and Randy; sisters, Tina, Sherry, and Cathy; Sharon’s siblings, Junior Morrow, Rick Morrow, Tom Morrow, Bonnie (Jim) Hilliker, and Missy (Ron) Betser; Sharon’s half siblings, Ann (Gordon) Nummer and Rebecca (Tim) Miller; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special cat companion, Maggie. Funeral services for Scott will take place at Hurst Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am and 1:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will take place at Spencer Mills Cemetery, and a luncheon at the Eureka Township Hall will follow the graveside services.
