Mrs. Brenda Faye Thompkins Fuqua, 65, of Andalusia, AL, passed away on October 1, 2024, at a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Fuqua will be 11 AM on October 4, 2024, at Foreman Funeral Home, with Rev. Travis Day officiating and Foreman Funeral Home Directing. Internment to immediately follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Foreman Funeral Home on October 3, 2024, beginning at 5:30 PM.

Mrs. Fuqua is survived by her two daughters, Dawn (Daniel) Cate of Andalusia, AL, and Marlee (Bryan) Bass of Andalusia, AL, two stepdaughters; Janet (Tim) Cooper of Andalusia, AL, and Jackie Fuqua of Andalusia, AL, five grandchildren; Kyleigh Curry, Piper Cate, Beckham Bass, Eliza Bass, and August Bass all of Andalusia, AL, seven step-grandchildren, two sisters; Sheila (Robert) Williams of Andalusia, AL, and Sandra James of Northport, AL, and a brother, Wesley (Dianne) Thompkins of Andalusia, AL.

Mrs. Fuqua is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fuqua, a stepson; Danny Fuqua, her brother; Ronnie Thompkins; and her parents, Johnnie and Ora Thompkins.

Pallbearers will be Robert C. Williams, Dr. Loren James, Clint Thompkins, Daniel Cate, Bryan Bass, and Robert D. Williams.

The family has elected to accept flowers.
