Bobby Joe “BJ” Henderson, age 50, of Mt. Olivet, KY, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born in Lexington, KY, on April 1, 1974, to the late Stanley Earl and Ruby Christine Moran Henderson Sr. BJ is also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Henderson, Jerry Henderson; a sister Ellen Fite; and niece, Tammy Gail Fryman.

BJ is survived by three brothers, Mike (Tami) Henderson, Stanley (Marcheeta) Henderson, Johnny Henderson; four sisters, Judy Fite, Linda (Randy) Shepherd, Jenny (Mark) Bussell, Jody (Jaimie) Sizemore; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that he adored; a very special friend, Becky Dufresne; and a very special four-legged buddy, Cracker Jack.

BJ enjoyed hunting, fishing, welding, tractor pulls and John Deere Tractors. He loved his family and will be missed dearly by many.

Funeral services for BJ and his family will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 4:00 P.M., at Robertson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to his services on Saturday, October 5, 2024, also at Robertson County Funeral Home, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
