Thomas Michael Enzbrenner, 61 of Atchison, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by friends and family. He had been fighting cancer for the past few years.

He was born on November 5th, 1962, in Atchison, KS, to Elizabeth Ann (Eccles) and John Joseph Enzbrenner. He graduated from Maur Hill in 1981. After graduation Tom joined the Army where he worked with the Communications Command and was an Air Traffic Controller. He received a sharpshooter designation from the military and received an Army Service Ribbon as well as a Good Conduct Medal. He retired from the Army in 1988. After returning to Atchison, he worked in a variety of different roles including jobs with Midwest Grain Products, ConAgra, and Walmart. Most recently Tom retired as a Jail Corporal Corrections Officer with the Atchison County Sheriffs Office.

Tom will be remembered for the many activities and sports that he enjoyed playing and watching including playing golf, cruising the country roads, going to the casino, and catching up with friends down at the VFW. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams which included the Kansas City Chiefs and the KU Jayhawks.

Tom is survived by his significant other of over a decade, Regina "Gina" Norris, son Eric (Brandy) Enzbrenner, Atchison, KS, daughters Tara Enzbrenner, Atchison, KS, Amanda (Pat) Myers, Barling, AR, Sophia (Aaron White) Enzbrenner, St. Joseph, MO, siblings John Enzbrenner Jr, Ft. Garland, CO, Kathy (Todd Berry) Enzbrenner, Effingham, KS, JoAnn Enzbrenner, Atchison, KS, Tammy (Tim) Beymer, Clarksville, TN, and Kelli (Chris) Patterson, St. Joseph, MO, Sister-in-law Kerri Enzbrenner, Platte City, MO, grandchildren Brantley, Lennox, Remington, Lemony, Montgomery, Eli, Noah, Birdie, and Sonnie, and a plethora of nieces and nephews. Tom is preceded by both of his parents and his brother Sergeant David Enzbrenner.

A rosary will be held at 6:00PM, Monday October 7th, 2024, at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral with visitation following until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Atchison, KS, with Father Meinrad Miller officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary.
