John C. Trone, 86, of Macomb passed away at 8:37 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
He was born on July 11, 1938 in Bardolph to Dewey Carl and Edna Pauline Trimmer Trone. He married Leslie M. Lewis on May 14, 1960. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jon R. Trone of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Kimbery A. Trone of Manhattan, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Darlene Trone, Gail Trone, Phyllis Trone and Ina Louise Doran and one brother, Dewey Trone.
John lived in Macomb, Wisconsin, Hammond,, Indiana, Calumet City, Rushville and back to Macomb for the last 30 years. He worked as the manager of Fiber Steel Factory in Astoria and worked for Onken Industries for the last several years before his retirement.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private grave side services will be held at Bardolph Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
