Thomas E. Clark, (TC) 75, of Franklin, PA., passed away Tuesday Oct. 1, 2024 at Oakwood Heights after an extended illness.
Born July 31, 1949 in Franklin, PA., he was the son of the late Wayne and June Carey Clark
Tom was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a SP5 during the Vietnam War.
Tom was most recently employed by Crawford Area Transportation Authority and had previously drove for several other local companies over the years.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and got to go salmon fishing in Alaska, which was always a goal for him.
He was an avid lottery player and would always pass his blessings on to local charities.
Tom was a gentle man, thoughtful and considerate .
He was a 42 year proud member of the AA community and led a life of service to all that knew him.
He is survived by longtime companion Connie Mercilliott of Polk
And his three daughters
Julia Clark and significant other Chris Fink of Oil City
Jennifer O’Hara and her husband Patrick of Clintonville
Jessica Borgia and her husband Cole of New Castle
three grandchildren
Michael Fink, Madison Fink and Cameron Harris
He is also survived by three sisters
Tina McAninch and her husband Rich of Franklin
Patricia Hoover of Oil City
Barbara Wygant and her husband Tom of Stoneboro
a brother
Donald Clark and his wife Kim of Reno
And by several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by two sisters Beverly Sloss and Suzan Clark and a brother Howard Clark.
Military Honors will be accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard on Wednesday Oct. 9, at 2:00 P.M. at Old Sandy Cemetery.
A Memorial gathering and dinner will follow at the Polk Fire Hall.
Memorials may be made to Venango County Humane society or to March of Dimes
