June Fine, 90, of Wall Township, passed away peacefully on September 30 at Care One in Wall. Born December 10, 1933 in Maplewood, she was a graduate of Columbia High School. She and her husband moved to Wall Township in 1959, where they raised their two daughters. She retired in 2013 after 43 years as Executive Assistant and Office Manager of Monmouth Council BSA.

June helped establish Aviation Explorer Post 19 and served as Co-Advisor along with her husband. Monmouth Council BSA presented her with Scouting’s Silver Beaver Award in 1993. In 2015, the Wall Township Community Alliance named her Wall Township Citizen of the year for her work with various youth organizations including: Girls Scouts, Boys Scouts, Explorers, and EAA Young Eagles. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church on the Hill in Ocean Township.

June was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Sue Patterson, her sisters Blanche Mercier, Rose Anderson, Joyce Long, Janet Hildebrant, and her beloved daughter Cathryn.

She is survived by her husband of seventy years, Frank Fine of Wall Township, her daughter Carol Hart and her husband, Norman, of Brick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a Funeral Service on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00am at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd. Wall, NJ. Interment will be in the Fine family plot in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls
