Frank W. Schwartz, 77, of Metuchen died on Monday, September 30, 2024, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Trenton, he resided in Metuchen for the last 48 years. Frank was an electrical engineer, working for various communication and cellular telephone companies. He retired from Lincoln Technical Institute as an instructor. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Frank was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
A devoted husband, father, and brother surviving are his wife of 52 years, Juliane (nee Fabiano); two sons Frank and his wife Cassie and Stephen; his siblings Walter and his wife Joan, Dennis and his wife Ildi and Doreen Meheski; brother-in-law to Frank Fabiano and Debbie and Uncle Frank to 10 nieces and nephews; he was also a loving Pop-Pop to his two grandchildren Owen
and Clay.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery of Metuchen.
