Tamra Haidle, 49, of Amarillo, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday September 29, 2024. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday October 3, 2024, at Coulter Road Baptist Church, 4108 Coulter Street South, with Pastor Aaron Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Tamra was born on March 24, 1975, in Amarillo to Carl and Patsy Haidle. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1993 and received her bachelor’s degree in education from West Texas A&M University in Canyon. Tamra taught school for twenty years. She spent part of her time with Dumas ISD and later she would make her home with River Road ISD. She loved her students and was dedicated to her work. Tamra was a fierce advocate for animals and always opened her heart to any pet in need. She constantly advocated for the wellbeing of pets without a home and partnered with local animal rescuers to further the cause.

Tamra loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them; She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and even enjoyed playing the slot machines. Tamra enjoyed music and could often be found at a live music event or a good concert. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed.

Tamra was preceded in death by her father, Carl Haidle and her beloved cat, Emma Grace.

Survivors include her mother, Patsy Haidle of the home; her sister, Tonya Haidle of Amarillo; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; her Tabby cat, Carlee Ruth. Survivors also include a host of beloved co-workers and friends.
