Bennett, James Richard Jr. “Jim”, was born on February 4, 1944 in Adrian, Michigan to James and Edith Bennett. Jim, who resided in Taylor, Michigan, passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 80. Jim is the beloved husband of Monica. Loving father of Wendy (Rich), the late Adam, and Kim (Gino) Flores. Dear brother of his surviving siblings Kathy, Bill, John, Ralph, Connie, Jenny as well as his departed siblings Bonnie, Patty, Joan, and Linda. Dearest papa of Heather, Alex, Lilly, Olivia and Richie (Alyssa). Loving great papa of Fiona and Stella. Jim is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Visitation Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. Funeral services for Jim will be that evening starting at 6:00 p.m. from the funeral home. A masonic service will be held after the funeral service to pay tribute for his contributions to their organization.
