Humberto Rivera-Santiago, 70, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. A native of Salinas, Puerto Rico, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for six years coming from Connecticut. Humberto was strong in his faith and was the co-pastor at Iglesias de Dios Restaurando Vidas. He had a passion for preaching and loved being involved in his church community. He also loved to be outdoors, spending time with family and cooking for his loved ones. Specifically, pasteles and arroz con dulce.

Humberto was preceded in death by his two daughters, Xiomara Jeanette Rivera and Charlene Esther Rivera.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Amalia Rivera; sons, Humberto Asael Rivera and Japhet Heber Rivera; daughters, Michele Rivera, Yamira Rosette Rivera and Luz Damaris Rivera; fourteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and beloved extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Humberto will be held at Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, FL, on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Bloomingdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Humberto’s wife, Carmen Amalia Rivera through Zelle using her personal number.
