Helen M. Zboran, 95, of Ford City, died Monday, September 30, 2024, in her home.

Born June 22, 1929, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Ruth (Hawanni) Ammer.

Mrs. Zboran was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City.  She was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Joanne Zboran (Larry Baum) of Apollo, Joseph (Beth) Zboran of Freeport, and Richard A. (Cheryl) Zboran of Kittanning; a son-in-law, John Sigler; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her “bonus family” – four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.  Helen also leaves behind her many beloved friends at Freedom Apartments.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Zboran; a daughter, Helen Marie Sigler; sisters, Lena Ammer, Julia M. Tretinik, Mary Jane West, and Katherine Hawa; and brothers: Herbert Ammer and Oscar T. Ammer.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.  Prayers of transfer will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at Christ, Prince of Peace Church, with The Very Rev.
