Evelyn Rose Napier, 83 of Charleston, Illinois, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 in Charleston. She was a homemaker.

She was born September 26, 1941 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Robert Gibson, Jr. and the late Marie Eleanor (Knight) Gibson.

Survivors include three sons, David L. Beaver of Paris, Donald R. Beaver of Marshall, and Larry M. Beaver of Marshall; five daughters, Cathy M. Wilson of Charleston, Debra A. Toothman of Paris, Evelyn K. Jeffrey of Paris, Liza E. Jeffrey of Mattoon, and Donna K. Thompson of Chrisman; two brothers, Timothy E. Baugh of Paris and Roger D. Baugh of Decatur; one sister Sandra K. Bayes of Redmon; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn loved country music, especially Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at Edgar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at Templeton Funeral Home of Paris.
