Tom departed his earthly body unexpectedly Sunday September 29th . The Lord lent him to us for
63 years before he called him home. What an amazing time it was. He spent his life in the service of
others, but most of all he was a warrior for Christ. His greatest wish for his family and everyone he
touched was for them to know Jesus and seek salvation through him. Right now his family and many
others are wondering who will they call for the answers or help he was always ready to provide? He
leaves behind his wife of 45 years Heidi, his children Richard (Lissette), Kevin (Becky), Tom(Brittney), Michelle and
Eric(Ryan), as well as 14 grandchildren. His mother Evelyn and his father Tom. He also leaves behind 7
siblings. He did get to join his beloved sister Dorothy in Heaven. He had many special friends as well, too
numerous to mention. He was always ready to go home to Jesus, but we were never ready to let him go.
His hope was that his legacy of serving and helping others would be passed on. We promise it will go on
through his children and grandchildren. Thank you Lord for the Gift of Thomas whom has now heard
“Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Master” (Matthew 25:21).
The celebration of Tom’s life will be held Sunday October 6th with a gathering of family and friends from 1-3 PM with at a service to follow at 3pm at Cumberland County Community Church in Millville 1800 East Broad Street, Millville. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Manna Worldwide so we may continue his life of giving.
Tom wrote a letter to his family that can be read on the Adams-Perfect website @ www.admsperfect.com
Why I was born Before my birth my spirit was with God, but it had no wisdom or experience, and had not yet
learned how to even love. But when my birth took place, and I came into this world I started to
understand the reason for life. At first, I had to learn how to accept the people around me as my
family. After this, I began to see and learn all the things connected to this dimension as it gave
me a space to be an individual separate from God. This was imperative, as it allowed my mind
and my heart to begin to grow on its own, through this growth I started to understand the reason
for life itself, as my mind began to gather wisdom throughout the experiences that I was going
through, and my heart began to realize love through the people that were taking care of me, I
began to gain self-awareness, and in this thought, I realized that there was more to life than just
the people around me. So I began to think outside of myself, and I soon understood that there
was a bigger purpose to this life it was to understand that we were brought into existence for the
purpose of expanding love itself so it could be used to understand what’s beyond the world. In
this way of thinking it was revealed to me that there was something else in control of everything
that was going on in the world as my mind realized that if this was not true with all the different
ways of people themselves how could it all come together in an orderly fashion. So I thought to
myself there has to be one single entity that holds these thoughts, actions, and love together. At
this point I realized there was higher power, and it was God and he loved us.
The day that I realized this, and for the rest of my life, I began to understand my purpose. God
made me a helper and through this I was able to understand God, and except the love that he
pours out on me. When my eyes were open to this critical fact, my heart was also opened to all
people and because of this I have a full satisfied life, which is looking forward to being with my
creator and understanding the full power and love that God has for me. I thank Him every day
for this thing that he’s done, For the people that he’s put around me and the words that he’s put
in my mouth to help others. I thank him for who He is for His pure righteousness and His truth
and His unwavering determination to save us all. for even though God is so powerful, and can
do whatever he wants, He chooses to love us, for this my mind and heart come together in one
thought thankfulness as God could’ve been any other way, but this God loves us and is full of
truth and righteousness, love understanding and Grace. For this reason, I honor Him with all of
my love with all of my thoughts and all of my life.
