Stephen Williams, age 64, of East Brooklyn died unexpectedly on September 29, 2024. He was a devoted Fire Police Officer with seven years of service in the East Brooklyn Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and helping other people and worked at the local fairs. Stephen helped at local food banks and did charity work for the community. He was well known at the Brooklyn transfer station and was always welcome by the workers. He would always put others before himself. Stephen touched many lives and will be missed by many, both family and friends.

Stephen is survived by many family and friends. He is survived by his sister Debbie LaPre and husband Steve of Arizona, brother Donald Williams Jr. of Maine, brother Kevin and Michelle Williams of Danielson, sister Lora Erskine of Dayville, sister Charlotte Egan of Moosup, and sister Bertha Pasay of Danielson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Aimee Williams-Gonyer of Wauregan, Craig and Erica Williams along with Grayson Williams, Heather and Amiyah Williams.

He is predeceased by his father Donald Williams Sr. and mother Shirley Jodoin as well as his sisters Ruth Williams and Kathy Sabourin.

Visitation will be held in St. James Church, 10 Franklin St, Danielson on October 11, 2024 from 10:15-11 AM, immediately followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Burial to follow at High Street Cemetery in Dayville.
