Felice D'Elia, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and companion passed away at the age of 84 in Safety Harbor, FL on September 30, 2024. Born on December 10, 1939, in Contursi Terme (SA), Italy, Felice's warmth, humor, and kindheartedness shaped the lives of those around him.

Felice will be fondly remembered as the cherished patriarch of his family, including his children, Tommaso, Gabriella, and Marco; his siblings, Salvatore and Lucia; his grandson, Eddie; stepsons, Kenny and Michael (Erin) & their son Reese. He was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Antonio and Concetta; his stepson, Tony; along with his late spouse, Nunziata, as well as his late significant other, Olga. He was a beacon of joy and love, guiding his family with a gentle, steady hand and always offering a laugh when it was needed most.

In1960, Felice, ventured to America with his now late sister, Concetta, to pursue the American Dream. In 1971, alongside his brother Salvatore and brother-in-law, Carmine, they established their first Italian Deli, Delfiore's, in Patchogue, Long Island. His entrepreneurial spirit shone once again when he moved to Clearwater, Florida, and opened Felice's Italian Deli in 1982. Renowned for making his famous mozzarella, Felice worked in the family business until his last day, serving the community with dedication and warmth.

A dedicated Napoli soccer team fan, Felice's love for the game was infectious, and it was not uncommon to hear his lively commentary and cheers echoing during matches.

Felice's memory will be held close in the hearts of many, leaving a legacy of kindness and laughter that will resonate with all who knew him. He has imparted a sense of unity and compassion that will endure, a true testament to the life he so beautifully led. Felice lived up to his name as it, quite literally, translates to 'Happy' - which is  how he was every day of his life and how he will always be remembered.

Their will be a celebration of life held in his memory at the family deli on Sunday, January 19th, from 11:00am - 3:00pm.
