Brian O’Leary

July 5th, 1948 – September 29, 2024

Passed away at RVH surrounded by his family on September 29, 2024. Brian is predeceased by his wife Shiela, loving father of Darrell O’Leary (Crissy) and Nicole Ivison (Chad). Proud grandfather of Rhianne & Quinn Ivison, Logan, Zach and Sam O’Leary. Dear brother of Sharon Bakker (late Ron), Ronnie O’Leary, Ralph O’Leary, Marie Mortensen (Ernie), David O’Leary (late Melanie) and Glen O’Leary. Brother-in-law of the late Robert Holmes, late Elaine Drury (Keith), Carolyn Beaton, Brian Holmes (Cathy), Marilyn McNish (Gary), Scott Holmes (Betty) and the late Wendy Murphy (Harry). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian had suffered many health challenges over the last 20 years that limited him from enjoying his life as much as he had in his younger years, but stayed committed to being stubborn, was proud of his years as a carpenter and his time at Beaver Lumber/Alliston Home Hardware, and was grateful for the many friendships he had throughout the years.

Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Thursday, October 10th from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, October 11th from 11 a.m. until 12 noon Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church 4781 Conc. Rd. 5, Alliston on Friday, October 11th at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
