Cathy (Bastarache) Reinders, 67 of Moncton, wife of the late William “Bill” Reinders, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday October 1, 2024 with support of MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying). Cathy suffered from a number of severe medical issues.

Cathy, daughter of the late Bernice (O’Connor) Bastarache, Terry (Marie Anne) Bastarache of Grand Falls and her brother, Gary (Nicole) of Moncton; sisters, Bonnie Cudmore of River Glade and Beth Bastarache of Moncton; nephews and nieces, Nick of River Glade, Chris of Fort McMurray, Erika (Matthew) Landry of Chalk River, Ontario, Julie (Travis) Russell of Embrun, Ontario, grandnephew Blake of Chalk River, Ontario, host of extended family and friends

Over the years Cathy worked for Co-Op Atlantic, Canada Customs and retired from Mabe Canada Inc

A special thank you to Dr. Andrea Robichaud-Galeano, Dr. Patrick Giroux, Dr Mohammed Alkarain, Dr. Jerome Doucet, Dr. Matthieu Gaudet and Dr. Léo Picard, remarkable human beings they all are & the best in their field, so grateful to have been in their care.

Donations can be made to the People for Animal Wellbeing (PAW) in memory of Cathy and her beloved Furbabies Snow and Stormy.

Honouring Cathy's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
