Carla Branyon

May 29, 1968 - September 29, 2024

Carla Renee Cocchia Branyon passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her home in Anderson, South Carolina.

Born in Newburgh, New York, on May 29, 1968, she was one of four children of the late Salvatore Cocchia, and the late Wilma Cocchia Bigger.

Carla graduated from Westside High School, class of 1986. She worked at New Foundations Children's Home in Anderson. For her entire life, she has always worked caring for others.

Along with her Mom and Poppy, she was preceded in death by her brother, Nick, and her grandparents.

Carla is survived by her daughter, Brittany Glenn (Josh) and her son, Nicholas Branyon. She is also survived by her sister, Tanya Charping (Alan) and brother, Richard Cocchia (Kim). She leaves behind so many nieces and nephews whom she loved so so much. She also leaves behind her fur babies, Sassy, Little Man, Logan, and Carl Henry. She was a huge animal lover.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to New Foundation Children's Home. Carla loved her job and loved those children so much.
