With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lynn Marie Kaminski, 61, on September 29, 2024, in Wheeling, West Virginia. On February 22, 1963, Lynn was born on Washington’s birthday in Washington, Pennsylvania, at Washington Hospital. Lynn lived life to the fullest and always focused on the positive. Lynn’s smile was contagious – she lit up every room she walked into and lifted spirits like no other.
The following things brought Lynn much joy: laughing with friends and family, the beach, dogs, anything pink, sharing an ice-cold Bud Select, a Steelers win, and a cheese plate.
Lynn was the heart of her home and family. She raised two daughters, Brooke and Shay, to be independent, kind, and loving adults. Her girls were the most important thing to her, and her wish was always for them to have fun, laugh, and dance. Lynn is preceded in death by her soul mate and beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald Anthony “Esh” Kaminski, whom she still loved to this day.
Lynn had a long and fulfilling career as a Clinical Dietician at West Virginia University Medicine – Wheeling Hospital. Her presence was a beacon of hope and comfort for many, and her radiant personality and infectious smile never failed to bring happiness to those around her.
Lynn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert "Bob" and Rita Morgan; her loving husband, Ronald "Esh" Kaminski; sister, Jacki Carenbauer; and cherished in-laws, Stephen and Blanche Kaminski.
She is survived by her beautiful daughters, Brooke and Shay Kaminski; her devoted sisters, Susan (James) Mortakis and Mary Rita McCormick (Danny Butts); her caring brother-in-law, Carl Carenbauer; many loving nieces and nephews; her best friend, Jane Mueller; her significant other, Patrick Rodgers; her loyal pets, Bentley and Moon. Lynn will also be deeply missed by countless friends and her extended work family.
