CONRAD “JACK” SCHRAMM, age 92, Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Gyori) for 54 years. Cherished father of Renee Mealey (Duke), Melissa Fliegel (Justin) and Cindy Zahorchak (Mike). Loving Papa of Michael, Ali, Joey, Cort, Nicky, Ethan, Riley and Asher. Dear brother of the late Richard, Charles (Bernice), Virginia Wetekamp (Ted), Jeanette, Margaret Bucher (Walter) and Edward (Cece). Treasured uncle of many. As a young boy, Jack sang in the Oregon Journal Juniors weekly radio show during WWII. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force who served during the Korean War. He worked as an electrical specialist. In his retirement he loved to travel and to watch Westerns (John Wayne was his favorite) and Cleveland sports teams. He was a founding member of St. Brendan Parish and was active in the Holy Name Society. Volunteered as a Red Vest senior reader for CMSD (Cleveland Metropolitan School District) students. Passed away September 29, 2024. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, October 4 at St. Brendan Church, 4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 9 at 1:15 p.m. FRIENDS MAY CALL IN THE McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE, 25620 CENTER RIDGE ROAD (west of Columbia Road) ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3 FROM 4-7 P.M.
