Jack Perry, 82, husband of 52 years to Blanche Perry, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on February 24, 1942 in Anderson County to the late Joe Bruce and Annie Christine Cox Perry. Mr. Perry attended Glensboro Baptist Church and spent the majority of his life on the roads being a truck driver and owned and operated J. Perry Excavating for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and fishing.
Along with his wife Jack is survived by his children, Jackie (Carol) Perry, Lawrenceburg; Jennifer Hardin, Danville, Johnny Bruce Perry and Jason Lynn (Kristy) Perry, both of Lawrenceburg; 9 grandchildren, Ethan Lynn (Tessa Boyd) Perry, Nathan Hunter Perry, Layla Hayes, Josie Hayes, Christopher Perry, Jackie Leann (Lucas) Durr, Cory Hardin, Trace (Faith) Bishop and Taylor Bishop; sister, Brenda (Jerry) Peach, of Lawrenceburg; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill, Donnie, Ronnie and Ratchet Perry.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Noon & Son Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Glenn Corn officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
