Ricky Alan Miller 72, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 3:50 A.M. Monday September 30, 2024 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He was born on April 26, 1952 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of C. Allen and Anna Mae (Gregory) Miller. He was a United States Air Force veteran. On March 7, 1969 in Rochester, Indiana, he married Linda Sue Cooper.
Ricky worked as a truck driver for various trucking companies including Jedi Trucking and Maax of Plymouth, Indiana from where he retired. He had been a member of the American Legion and Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed camping, cook outs, and riding his motorcycle. A gifted musician who played numerous instruments, he played the bass guitar in both a rock and country bands for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Miller, Rochester, Indiana, children, Richelle (Thomas) Ngondo, Rochester, Indiana, Traci Miller, Rochester, Indiana, Ricky Alan (Sandee) Miller Jr., South Carolina, mother, Anna Mae Miller, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Andrea (Seth) Kauffman, Rochester, Indiana, Scout (Nicole) Stephens, Rochester, Indiana, Macoy Miller, South Carolina, Blade Miller Reffitt, Rochester, Indiana, great grandchildren, Keaghan, Emersyn, Corrigan, Samara, and Setiva, Rochester, Indiana, sister, Elizabeth (Ron) Mathias, Rochester, Indiana, nephews, Chris Clemens, Mishawaka, Indiana, Jaime Mathias, Brownsburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Alexis Marie Hamilton-Miller.
