A life beautifully lived and celebrated: John Pace, surrounded by family, peacefully went to his eternal rest on September 30, 2024 at the age of 90.

Loving and devoted husband of Salvina. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on September 20, 2024.

Much loved father of Rita (Naz) Perta, Vicky (Chris) Sutton, Fr. Michael Pace, Antoniette Pace, Sr. Mary Salvina and Paul (Emma) Pace.

Cherished Nannu of Nadia (Mike), Monica (Ray), Mark (Maria Christina), Patrick (Kyla), John (Tricia), Maria (Anthony), Michael (Devon), Mary Anne (Philip), Elizabeth, Julia (Liam), Catherine (Godwin), Joseph (Christianne), Joshua (Rachel), Daniel (Vanisha), Jacob, Elijah, Rachel, Benjamin, Jonah and Adam.

Proud great-grandfather of Aaron, Hailey & Ella, Domenic & Arthur, Liam, Harrison & Ethan, Vienna, Audrey & Emilia, Leigh & Ivy, Kaeda & Romi, Maia & Colby, Matteo, Josiah and Christopher.

John, the youngest of 8 children joins his parents Antonia and Michael Pace and siblings George, Emmanuel, Mary Anne, Carmenu, Antonio (Nino), Giuseppi, and Paul. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends locally, in Malta and Australia.

John, beloved parishioner of St. Benedict Church, faithfully worshipped here and raised his family in this spiritual home. When he retired from Pepsi Cola after 30 years, he proudly maintained St. Benedict church serving as the parish caretaker from 1994 – 2007.

The family is deeply grateful to the staff at Etobicoke General Hospital for their great care over the past five weeks.

Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke (north of Rexdale Boulevard), on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Parish, 2194 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. If desired, donations to St. Benedict Parish would be appreciated by the family. Donations made will be directed to the Youth Ministry and Special Projects of St. Benedict Church.
