Betty L. Ahrens, 86, of Watseka passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Watseka Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born on November 7, 1937 in Limestone, a daughter of Rudolph J. and Anna Marie (Rabideau) Ahrens Sr.
Survivors include one brother, Rudolph (Patricia) Ahrens Jr. of Watseka; three sisters, Reta Myers of Watseka, Anita (Darrell) Speers of Palm Bay, FL and Kay (Jim) Green of Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Francis; and five sisters, Joanna, Doris, Geri, Ruth and Lois.
Betty was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka where she served on the Altar Guild and Ladies’ Guild. She was a lifetime member of the Old Courthouse Museum in Watseka.
Funeral services will be on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka with Pastor Aaron Uphoff officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Iroquois Memorial Park in Watseka.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Pre-school.
