Funeral Services for Jo Ann Eldridge Gregory, 91, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M., October 2, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Kevin Stewart and Dr. James Gardner officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow immediately at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe.

Jo Ann was born on July 26, 1933, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to Floyd and Mary Eldridge and passed away on September 29, 2024, in West Monroe, LA.

Jo Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of McClendon Baptist Church where she served in many capacities such as working in the children’s department.  She was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and then became a licensed beautician and enjoyed doing her family’s hair.  Jo Ann was also a skilled seamstress and worked many years altering and making wedding dresses.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Eldridge; her brothers, Robert, James, Jerry, and Max Eldridge; sisters, Billie Wene, Beryl LaRocco, and Rita Harris; and her son, Ralph (Reggie) Gregory, Jr.

Jo Ann will always be remembered by daughters, Cindy (Clyde) Self and Lori Gregory; grandchildren, Erica (Cory) Emerson, Tara Wink, Jared (Jessica) Self, Amanda McGowen, Cory (Ashley) Gregory, and Ryan (Chelsea) McGowen; and great grandchildren, Emmaline Wink, Cameron Pilgram, Caleb Self, Chloe Self, Carleigh Self, Cason Gregory, Annleigh Beth Gregory, Memphis Gregory, and Marley McGowen.

Pallbearers will be Jared Self, Caleb Self, Cory Emerson, Cameron Pilgram, Cory Gregory, and Ryan McGowen.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to McClendon Baptist Church.
