Doris Mary Arl of St. James, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 71.

Doris was born to the late James and Anna Arl on August 15, 1953. Doris enjoyed bowling and going to the rec. center. She loved going to dance parties with friends and eating a good “bone” steak! Doris worked at the shelter workshop for many years. One of the things Doris loved and adored most was holidays with family.

Doris will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her brother James Arl, and wife, MaLinda of Rolla, MO; niece Jessica Lee Smith; nephews, Joshua James Arl, and wife, Missy, and Jacob Lewis Arl, and wife, Candace; great nieces, Analee Smith, and Olivia Arl; great-nephews, Benjamin Arl, Elijah Arl, Kaleb Arl, Liam Arl, Malaki Smith; and many cousins and extended family.

A funeral service for Doris Mary Arl will be conducted on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 10:30 am at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri. The interment will be at the Polk Cemetery near Centerville, MO at 1:30 pm. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
