His Legacy… William Henry Fredenburg, “Bill”, 89, passed away September 29, 2024.  He was born on April 14, 1935, in Howell, Michigan to Vern Fredenburg and Julia (Thomas) Fredenburg. Bill married his love, Geneva Harvey, on September 24, 1995, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.   He will be remembered as loving husband, father and grandfather who took great pride in his family.  Bill was proud but humble in his life, as he had worked hard to make a good life for himself and his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter who loved spending time in Kalkaska. Bill was a Ford UAW retiree and spent much of his retirement as President of, “Friends of Veterans” from the mid 1990’s – 2020. He spent a great deal of time with his grandkids teaching them about mechanics, and sharing his love of the outdoors. His talents were his ability to fix anything mechanical and tinker on things in the garage. One of his greatest joys was making his wife, Geneva, happy by taking her on traveling adventures. They could always be found holding hands.

His Family… Bill will be missed by his wife, Geneva Fredenburg; his children, Tim Fredenburg, LuAnn (Randy) Pearsall; step-children, Cindy (Mark) Kaye, Kevin (Sharon) Harvey, Jerry (Deb) Harvey, Mike (Claudia) Harvey; siblings, Howard (Maggie) Fredenburg, Doris Morris; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Julia Fredenburg; stepdaughter, Kathryn Hayes; siblings, Ronnie, Johnny, Rose, Mary Jane, Ernie and Bob.

His Farewell… Bill’s family and friends will gather for a Memorial Luncheon Sunday, October 27, 2024 and 12:00 noon, at the American Spirit Centre 10590 East Grand River Ave., Brighton, Michigan.
