Richard Leroy Freeman, 71, of Latonia, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 29, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1952, to the late John and Stella Freeman.
Richard was a man of many passions, deeply enjoying the outdoors through hunting and fishing. A devoted sports fan, he especially cheered for the University of Kentucky. He was an active member of Latonia Christian Church and a proud graduate of Silver Grove High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and Wayne Freeman. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Paula Freeman; sons Eric Null and Brian (Stephanie) Null; and his siblings Bonnie (Ray) Coffey, Kay Gubser, John Freeman, Walt (Joyce) Freeman, Vick (Doug) Schout, Brenda Fultz, Viola Downard, and Beck (Dan) Quinn. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Eric, Jasmine, Cole, Gavy, Brice, Peyton, Oliver, and Aly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Latonia Christian Church. Friends and family may gather from 1:00pm until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Latonia Christian Church in Richard's memory.
Richard's spirit and warmth will be missed by all who knew him.
