Dwight D. Kauffman, 74, of Oxford, PA lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at home.

He was the husband of Judy Shumake Kauffman with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Audrey Bryson Kauffman.

Dwight enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his favorite TV shows. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Jodi (Dok) Phouthavongsa of Oxford; two grandchildren, Kaelyn and Cameron; and one sister, Joyce Dauch of Strasburg; nieces; and beloved dog, Niko.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jill Kauffman and brother, Robert Kauffman.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where friends and family may visit from 2 – 3:00 pm.

Interment will be private.
