Ann Brand Obituary
Margaret Annette “Ann” Phillips Brand, age 82, of Boaz, AL., formerly of Allgood, AL., passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
She is survived by daughter Lisa Amos (Russell) of Sardis City, AL.; son Ronald Brand (Shelly) of Allgood, AL.; brother-in-law Kenneth Brand (Carolyn) of Boaz, Al.; sister-in-law Betty Lee of Trussville, AL.; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Nelson Brand; infant son; parents John and Elizabeth Blackwell Phillips; brothers Roger Phillips and Wayne Defoor; brother-in-law Perry Lee; great granddaughter Harper Wise.
Mrs. Brand will lie in state at Allgood Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the church beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Gary Thrasher presiding. Burial to follow in Tidwell Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Denton Brand, Adam Amos, Pat Sutton, Matt Wilemon, Adam Wise, and Chase Handley.
